Victoria Beckham, Selfridges and the Alvar Aalto Museum have been some of the high profile clients beating their path to London-based Roz Barr Architects. Since forming in 2010 the architecture practice has steadily built an international reputation for producing exacting, collaborative and innovative work marked by a high level of craftsmanship. But her recent restoration and refurbishing of St Augustine’s Church in Hammersmith, west London has got the critics cooing, winning a string of plaudits along the way, including a Royal Institute of British Architects award. The focal point is a reimagined altar with a halo made from cast iron hovering above it.
Barr will be speaking about the restoration and refurbishment as part of the Building on the built lecture series on Wednesday 3rd July 2019 at the Brook Green offices of Jonathan Tuckey Design, 58 Milson Road at 7:30pm.
This event is free but places are limited. Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org
