Her Majesty The Queen becomes the first British Monarch to celebrate a Platinum Jubilee, marking 70 years of service in 2022. To celebrate this unprecedented anniversary, events and initiatives will take place throughout the year, culminating in a four-day UK bank holiday weekend from Thursday 2 to Sunday 5 June. The Jubilee bank holiday is an opportunity for communities to come together to celebrate this historic milestone.
Over the extended bank holiday in June, 31 street parties will take place across Kensington and Chelsea with support from the council. Residents have been supported by officers in their party planning, to make sure street decorations are safe and festive. Look out for local promotion of your nearest street party.
