Planet Earth, pollution, carbon footprints and other topical environmental issues have never gained so much traction in a year set to be the tipping point where sustainability and climate change entered the mainstream. If you have always been concerned about the terrifying news of climate armagedon, but felt powerless to do anything about it, the “Go Green in West London”-themed networking event organised by W3Women is the place to join fellow travellers.
The event takes place at Kindred in Hammersmith, a newly opened, community-minded members’ club and will be hosted by Lucy Cleland, Editorial Director of Country and Town House Magazine. Alice Garton and Dominic Phinn, representatives from ClientEarth, will join Clare Gittins, a habit change activist and fledgling eco-business owner, on a panel to lead the conversation about how everyone can be a part of the solution.
Participants are welcome to advance ideas and concrete actions on tackling the climate emergency and engage their communities to set up initiatives to tackle environmental problems.
